Mentor “feel the difference” offer
Mentor Worldwide LLC is introducing a special offer to women who are interested in switching their saline implants out for Mentor MemoryGel breast implants.
What is MemoryGel?
After almost 2 decades of testing and research, MemoryGel was FDA approved for women in the US in 2006. MemoryGel is a cohesive gel-like substance that acts as a solid rather than a liquid. It holds together uniformly while still retaining the natural give of breast tissue.

Implant deflation can occur immediately or slowly over a period of days and is noticed by a loss of size or different shape of your breast. Silicone implant usually leak slower than saline implants and can sometimes go unnoticed for quite some time. Implants can deflate in the first few months, after several years, or at any time in between. If you think you have a deflation, please:
1. Call 911…..NO PLEASE DON’T. Please RELAX. Call your plastic surgeon and schedule an appointment, ideally within a week of the deflation. If you have Saline Implants, the leaking is salt water, which your body will absorb without any issue. There has been no known health risks associated with saline or silicone breast implants deflation.
2. Get your information ready for your doctor, just in case you go with someone new or it’s been a long time since you’ve had surgery. You should have the following information ready, if feasible:

One of the first things that most patients want to know, but are afraid to ask, “When can I have sex?” The answer is going to vary, depending on your procedure and your healing process. Just like exercise, sexual activities increases heart rate. This raises your blood pressure, causing your blood to flow more intensely, which can increase swelling and cause bleeding (Hematoma). Safe guidelines are:
Breast Augmentation: 2 weeks
Lipo: 2 weeks
Abdominoplasty ( Tummy Tuck ): 3 weeks
Labiaplasty: 2 weeks
Just like with any other surgical procedure, follow common sense and your post op instructions. Keep your incision site clean and covered. Do not expose them to bacteria that can be found in bodily fluids. Remember your body is still healing, so please be gentle with it.

Saline vs. Silicone
How do you choose between the 2? Well according to the FDA you have to be at least 22 years of age for Silicone.
The advantages of Silicone are:
- Less noticeable rippling on the side
- Best for thinner people with less breast tissue
- Best for people going to a large size, more than what is suitable for their frame
The advantages of Saline:
- Less expensive
- Adjustable for people that have asymmetrical breast
- Used for all ages
